The Katsuragi Household teeters on the edge of the abyss. Asuka and Rei channel 'Cool Hand Luke'. Shinji is made an intriguing offer.
Ch.17 - DOING WHATEVER A SPIDER CAN
As the 4th Child is shown the ropes by Shinji and Asuka, Rei gives 'living life' her best shot.
Ch.18 - IMPACT TREMORS
During the 10th Angel's attack, Gendo reflects on his early dealings with SEELE. The wider global consequences of the Second Impact are explored.
Ch.19 - MEETING TIFFANY GRANT
Gendo lays out the whole truth to Misato. The pilots participate in cross-synchronization experiments and war games as the Mark I and II Dummy Plugs come online. Shinji also does something very un-Shinji-like: he has fun.
