Because I am, as always, at the forefront of up-and-coming memes, I've decided to show off this new idea called the "Twenty-Five Things" about me. I'll refrain from posting a LOLcats at the end. There's no order to these 25.

1. I hate writing fight scenes. Hate Hate Hate. They take a long time to do well and not be boring.

2. My least favorite portion of Evangelion to rewrite/read in fanfiction is the Sachiel Fight. This ties in with #1. Whenever I start work on a new Evangelion fanfic, I'm desperate to NOT write the Sachiel fight. Just look at my version of it in "Ineffable Crossover".

3. I had seven Wisdom teeth. No, that wasn't a typo.

4. When I was eight, I pulled out one of my own loose baby teeth. It took twenty minutes.

5. I used to draw a webcomic. I updated three times a week for seventeen months without a break. It is no longer on the web. I haven't picked up my Wacom since I quit my webcomic. After that virus wiped out my hard drive, I have yet to re-install Photoshop. This tells you how burned out I was by the end.

6. My first instinct in any crisis is to make the worst choice possible.

7. Teaching Sophomores. 'Nuf said.

8. I own all the GTAs, but I've only ever finished Vice City. San Andres was too damn long (especially with that damn 'flying the plane' section) and GTA IV wouldn't let go of my hand (and, seriously, I need to take my cousin bar hopping AGAIN?).

9. In order to ensure I would graduate from college, I deleted Civilization II from my computer and snapped the CD.

10. I own a lot of books, too many of them Dragonlance paperbacks (old shame).

11. Despite having read pretty much every Ranma 1/2 fanfic in existence and being a fan of it, I have never actually seen an episode of the anime or read any of the manga.

12. I don't mind Mary Sues. They're funny in a stupid way.

13. I do, however, dislike Shinji Sues. Seriously, why is every other Eva fanfic I read on FFnet about Shinji suddenly having a spine, the powers of Superman, and the mighty schlong of Ron Jeremy?

14. I actually have a second webcomic I started on my hard drive. I like the premise and might just do it one day, but not now. If I want to be creative, writing is far less straining on the hand than drawing.

15. Growing up, my father would let my siblings and I stay up late watching Doctor Who on PBS. This, combined with a family of Trekkers, means I never had a chance for a normal life.

16. My father still collects comic books. My siblings and I used to read them growing up. I myself don't anymore, mostly due to all the crossover crap of the last few years, but also because of the blatant sexism I now see in them.

17. My favorite color comic book series is "Y: The Last Man".

18. My favorite B&W comic book series is "Scott Pilgrim".

19. My favorite webcomic is a tough one. I enjoy "Order of the Stick" and "Erfworld", but my fav would probably have to be "8-Bit Theater".

20. I can lecture in front of a class, run a discussion, and answer after-school questions from students with ease -- but put me in a normal conversation and I epic fail at holding up my end of the dialogue.

21. Building on #20, back when I was a lowly student teacher, both my supervising teachers later told me they had dreaded the day I took over the class, believing I was so quiet that I'd be eaten alive by students. One teacher even told me she had been outright shocked that I was swaggering around the front of the classroom, brandishing a meter stick as a pointer, and able to strike up conversations with students I'd never met before.

22. I find post-Reconstruction, Pre-WWI American History to be my least favorite area of a topic I otherwise enjoy.

23. I hate Facebook.

24. I think Wonder Woman is the worst comic book superhero in the world.

25. I used to sleepwalk as a child. Once I even woke up to find I was taking a shower.

Once upon a time, Apolyton.net had a CafePress site with a mug that, given your occupation, I think you would put to good use. (Sadly, they're not selling it anymore.)

The text on the mug was, naturally:

MY WORDS ARE BACKED BY NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

"MY WORDS ARE BACKED BY NUCLEAR WEAPONS!"

"Okay! Okay! Calm down, Gandhi. GOD."
