I learned this workaround from JoeHundredaire on the SpaceBattles forum.
On FFnet, when you click on your story link to upload a new chapter, you're probably seeing a broken page. On that broken page, there's a section of the URL -- "/story/story_edit_property.php" -- that needs to be replaced. Use "/story/story_edit_content.php" in the URL instead of "/story/story_edit_property.php" and press enter. You should now be able to upload new chapters.
