Still Not Finished with Chapter 7-D

It's 85% done but I just can't bring myself to write the final connecting segments for all the completed scenes. The same goes for finishing the rewritten finale of 7-C. My brain has rebelled against FFO for now and has turned to beta work and other writing projects.

Speaking of, I'm starting a new Evangelion fanfic. I've already finished Chapter 1 and am a third fourth of the way through Chapter 2. It's called "We'll Meet Again" and it's a manga-centric AU. The premise comes from a plot bunny I threw out into the public domain at the Spacebattles message board a short while ago. Basically, the AU is centered around the idea of "What if SEELE was exposed shortly after the Second Impact?" Because I have a deep loathing in my soul for re-writing the Third Angel fight, the story starts with the arrival of the Fifth Angel.

I'm thinking my Yue fic "Mere Darkness" will be a deadfic. It's just not gelling. The same may be true for Bastard of Kyoshi Island, my AU Big Bang entry. At the very least I need to take a chainsaw to BoKI's plot outline.

Also bought and finished Mass Effect 2 this week. I am currently resisting the urge to write a novelization of the game. God knows I don't need another project, especially since I'm still feeling batshit crazy enough to eventually try my hand at doing a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' novelization of SMT: Devil Survivor.

Oh and hey, Facing Fearful Odds finally crossed the 150,000 word mark!
