Status Update
Nov. 15th, 2008 03:48 pmJust thought I'd post a quick status update on where all my fics are, especially since I haven't updated any of them in about three weeks.
Taking Sights - Ch. 13 is about 1/5 written and the rest is all planned out. The only thing I've been lacking is a good chunk of time to sit down and write out the last 4/5ths. This chapter will be pretty heavy, all things considered. It should be posted shortly after Thanksgiving (barring unforeseen events). Chapter 14, the more comedic "Great Apple Peel-Off", will be out pre-Christmas both due to its lighter tone and because I've already written half of it.
Doctor Who and the Defense Against the Dark Arts - Ch. 5 is about halfway written and should be posted sometime within the next week. As it's part one of a three part arc I'm trying to keep the writing a bit tighter than normal.
The Ineffable Crossover - Ch. 3 will be out... sometime. I have to be in a certain kind of silly/whimsy mood to write this fic so I can't tell you any specific dates. It'll be out when it's out.
Variations on a Theme: Hermione's Tale: Since this is a one-shot and not a chapter-based fic, it'll be a short while before I post things. It's been interesting writing VoaT since it's by FAR the darkest thing I've ever written (which, if you've been reading between the lines of Taking Sights, is saying something) but it's easier to write than TS since it's a hell of a lot less angsty. Maybe Mid-December for beta-ing?
