Wow, thank you so much for contributing to the avatar fandom. This story is simply amazing and I'm lucky to have found it so soon after it's been written. The sense of urgency that plagued the tv series doesn't make its reappearance in the story here and it works because you've really fleshed out characters and their relationships.
And thank you for not making the (mistaken) assumption that Hama was crazy in her youth because of how she came across in the original series. After all the trauma she went through as the "Last Southern Waterbender," I think she was entitled to a little crazy. Also she seems to be as powerful as Katara was/is/will be which fits with her shown abilties in canon (after all she was the last one to be captured and her discovery of bloodbending)
I only wish that you'll either continue writing either in this universe or continue in this fandom. Your writing is superb and I would even prefer you work on this than on "Taking Sights" even though I love that fic too. Well either way, hope to see more soon.
