Things I've Been Doing Instead of Writing the Next Chapter of Taking Sights
These activities include:
- Discovering Avatar: The Last Airbender -- and that NetFlix's turnaround time is far, far too long for my taste.
- Writing 20,000 words of an Avatar fanfic series, tentively called "Facing Fearful Odds"
- Discovering that finding a good beta reader for the above fanfic project is really fucking hard. Any takers?
- Attending my sister's wedding.
- Writing 30,000+ words (five chapters and change) of a Harry Potter novel, called "The Broken Masquerade", which asks the question: "What if, when Peter Pettigrew framed Sirius Black, he accidentally did it in full view of a BBC news crew broadcasting live on TV?"
- Writing Chapter 25 of Taking Sights, i.e. the penultimate chapter of Book 1; i.e. the chapter that's one longass action scene; i.e. the chapter where oodles and oodles of people are killed, maimed, and otherwise destroyed mentally and physically.
- Writing a Star Trek fanfic.
- Revising an Evangelion fanfic.
- Planting a garden in my backyard.
- Writing a depressing Persona 4 lemon.
- Writing the next chapter of my Doctor Who and Harry Potter crossover. (WHICH WAS REVIEWED! Squee!)
- Creating a TV Tropes page for my favorite alternative history timeline.
- Writing for the Persona 4 kink meme at badbadbathouse.
- Not writing the next chapter of Taking Sights.
